A bard party can be done, but isn't worth it, IMO. Bards usually enhance abilities of other classes. If you really want to put a bard to good use, make a multiplayer party with a skald, a barbarian, a paladin, a swashbuckler, a beserker, and a sorcerer. (If you have ToB, try using a Wild Mage instead. Their abilities can sometimes affect bard songs if the wild magic affects the bard.)
