The problem with prequels and sequels is that people tends to compared the movies to the "originals". I hate to admit it, especially being a long time SW fan, but apart from the extreme amount of CGIs, the SW prequels didn't live up to the expectations of the old series (from my POV of course).

This is probably because the older generations that used to watch this movies when they were young has grown up while George Lucas's skill of writing scripts isn't. IMHO, he should have invest a little more to hire good script writers.
