Valygar has no personality? You haven't taken him to the right places. He's said things that I wish my PC could have said.
He has some interactions with Viconia, Jan and Jaheira. He seems to be one of the few good characters who isn't stupid, naive or overfull of his own nobility.

NALIA: Why wouldn't he want us to heal his mother? Wouldn't he be able to stop begging then?
VALYGAR: Was that sarchasm or do you really not know what the hell you're talking about?
