My questions are
----------------
1)Can you dual class from kits or does it have to be pure class (i.e. archer to sorcerer, blade to cleric...)?
2) I will probably do some sort of fighter to mage or cleric, what are the minimums (stat wise) that I will need to do this and what level do people usually dual at?

Thanks

1. You can dual class from a kit to a general class, but not the other way around (for example, you can change from a Kensai to a mage, but not from a mage to a Kensai). You could do mage to fighter, since they are both general classes. In other words, you can only have one kit, and that has to be on the first class you take, not the second.

2. You must have a 15+ in the prime requisite in your first class, and a 17+ in the prime requisite of the class you are switching to. Also, it must be a valid multiclass option (see page 235 of the Game Manual to see a full listing of all the combinations).
