This, IMO, is just plain wrong. Charitable contributions should come from the heart, and not from corporate coersion, especially through one's paycheck. Many people are beleagered enough just to make ends meet, and can ill afford to do much more than support their churches or personal organizations.
If I were to find out that I was being bullied at work to give to United Way because my boss was getting kickbacks from that organization, they'd have a wild werecat on their hands!
