Compatibility with modern day machines is great, just make sure it's an AMD Socket A motherboard. Well, they are fairly easy to install, just follow the instructions and remember to ground yourself etc. If you don't feel confident then just ask the guy in the store you're buying from (unless it's online) and if you're lucky they'l do it free.
