are you kidding me? you don't know what opensource is?
well it's basically somtihng that you can get the source files, and anyone can make it better, alter, it and put it for other ppl to use, Linux is opensource, and i think so is mozilla.
and best of all to us artists . it's free, you should try them, they're awesome but not as great as the ones you buy, you get what you pay for, but in opensource, you get ALOT more than you pay for (you pay nothing, you get lots!)
isn't that great ^_^
go to sourceforge, that's where you'll find most of them ^_^
