Nada, PlayerOffender, you will keep the guild. All that happens is once you return to the docks you will need to go their and pay your fee and it will resume as was before you left.
Interesting opinions on this topic to see who likes what, but I must say this, Mazzy, is not to be overlooked, you talk about not liking your character in the back, but that is where she excells. Give her a good short bow and she can lay down some cover fire that is unreal and she's good for targeting certain enemies along with helping out your tanks if their on the short end of the melee.
