How many people have protected sex, every day, in the United States? I'd say.. ooh... Let's say, conservatively, a million. Just as an arbitrary figure. Lets say 10% would like a baby out of it. That leaves 900,000 couples, every day, having sex. If ALL of them are using IUD or the rod, that means 891,000 have a great time with no consequences. This leaves 9,000 people a day, stuck with a sprog.

Now I know this is all hypothetical, and the maths almost certainly WAY off (), but 99%, given the scale of this, isn't quite effective enough, IMO.
