Gabrielles blades, most references the article uses are 20, 30 or even 50 years old. I would not trust any article resorting to such old references, especially not one posted on a site with such an obvious agenda (They promote coconut oil which is extremely high on saturated fat).
Do a search on "unsaturated fat" or "polyunsaturated fat" on pubmed. I haven't found any publications there implying that unsaturated fat could have negative effects on your immune system, but I have found many publications stating that it improves insulin sensitivity and hormone balance. Saturated fat has the opposite effect, at least on your insulin sensitivity.
