Depends. You will need to be quite experienced, plus you'll be gone for quite a while so it's good to do some quests. Plus I think you should do your own stronghold quest so that you don't have to be cooling your heels afterwards to finish all the sub-quests related to it. However, if you're planning on adding Imoen into your group, she will have less experience, so it's a good idea to save some quests for after so she can get experience. Just MHO
