Happy Whoa.. Thought I lost the motherboard or CPU.. nope!

We went down a few days ago, and I took everything apart, (except the heatsink for the CPU) and cleaned everything.. dusted.. checked everything, and nothing.. wouldn't even boot to BIOS.. C1 error. SO... I was about to Order a new MB and had to order a CPU due to the Motherboard being old.

So a few hrs ago, I said... maybe the CPU was unset somehow.. or something.. removed heatsink, removed CPU and did find a tiny bit of dust near a pin. have NO idea how it got there, but cleaned it, reseated it, fresh thermal paste etc... and gave me a NEW error. A memory error.

I had just bought new memory for it a month ago, so I swapped the sticks out, and BOOM! Boots and runs fine again... HD is fine too.

WOW... was so bummed I was about to blow $500..
Thank god.. saved my bum!

Well, I know things are slow, but WELCOME back!
