I just installed Windows 7. I had to re-install NWN1 and it will play but there is a problem. It will not update/install patches when I try the update button on the opening screen.
I have downloaded the 1.68 and 1.69 patches from the Bioware site but when I install them I am told that NWN1 is now "incompatible".

On the desktop icon, can you right click on it and select compatibility mode? (or click properties then maybe there's a setting for XP mode?) I don't use Win7 due to this reason--stupid OS that breaks $1000's of dollars of software just isn't worth it--YET.
