Just a note; the only problem with getting ear plugs that aren't specifically made for musicians/concertgoers but for industrial applications is that they often filter out certain frequencies altoghether, which can make the sound of the concert duller. If you buy mid-pice-range musician ear plugs, they will not do anything to the sound other than making it quieter and therefore better to distinguish the different instruments etc.
Oh and the ones I have are nearly invisisble.
Like I said don't get the big foam yellow ones, they will NOT protect your ears enough and look dorky.
There are several types of earplugs that are very unobtrusive.
