I am going to be happy when I leave high school, college has to be better than this madhouse. As much as I find what I'm about to say funny, it is really just sad in so many ways.
I go to a small high school, around four hundred students but it seems more and more everyday that because it is a small community school that the people running it are trying to push their powers more than what they should. My principal, not the brightest guy in the world, came on the intercom this morning to make an announcement.
He tells us this morning that there have been a lot of problems with people passing through the halls during class (apparently they have enough time to watch the cameras up in the office). Now, evidently the large group of people wandering around did it during lunch time which, you know, should be alright. So now, because of a one time thing, everyone is restricted to the classrooms at all times, can't get anything from the library for research and if the teachers do let one of us go, they run the risk of being fired. We can't even use the restroom even if it means pissing on ourselves.
Now, just staying in a classroom may not seem that bad, but here's where it gets a little crazy. These people are treating us like we're stupid pretty much, so now if there is a freehand working up at the main office, they have to be called to escort each individual student to his/her locker or to the bathroom and has to wait inside with them as they do their business to make sure they don't take a smoke break.
Six months left, seems like too long a wait
