Congratulations, Moiraine! It's a rewarding feeling of triumph, innit? All the memories... the victories... the friends you made along the way.
Do give it another try, though. I'm playing an entirely different character atm - an evil Swashbuckler, very different to my original Paladin - and already, thanks to my choice of character and NPCs things are shaping up to be very, very different.
Tancred
The two Bhaalspawn faced each other, eyes not leaving each other's gaze for a moment. Malvolio had his hand clamped firmly around Jahiera's neck, his longsword at her throat. Tancred held Viconia fast, the point of his two-handed sword a mere inch from her chin.
"You don't have the guts to kill her."
"You don't have the decency to release her."
Malvolio sneered at his half-brother, even as Tancred stared back at him.
Then, with a roar, both men threw aside their hostages, both hot for the kill and flushed with hate.
Somewhere, in the darkest hell, Bhaal smiled.
