one of the parts is in the ilithid city, on a table near the cells. (anybody following standard operating procedure (search _everything_) will find it)
the other one is on the elder orb in the beholder dungeon. tough fight apparently, i never had any problems with it tho. the elder orb is in the entry chamber.
