The time in BG is ten times as fast as in real, thus a round takes 6 seconds (instead of 60s in PnP) and a turn takes 1 min (instead of 10 min). A day then takes 2.4 hours to complete (= 144 min).
I still remember the Ultima underworld series and Daggerfall, where the time went as fast or slow as in reality...
