There are a whole range of criteria for diagnosis of dyslexia, but it's not an exact science - more a sort of 'if you can tick yes to 7 out of the 20 following questions you may be dyslexic'.

The only way to find out is to get yourself tested by a specialist.

I don't know what part of the world you are from, but here in the UK you would not be entitled to anything unless diagnosed professionally.

People typically associate dyslexia with an inability to spell and that is often one of the main ways that dyslexia presents, but you can (like me) be dyslexic and have good spelling. Other indicators can be poor map reading and interpretation skills but good spatial awareness, poor organisational skills, difficulty interpreting instructions, poor memory, problems with sentence structure, and left/right confusion (not getting left and right muddled up, but a sensory confusion - hearing a noise to your right even though it's coming from your left that sort of thing).
