Ah-ha! It's not that you weren't understood... we just gave you far more information than you wanted. Sorry [img]smile.gif[/img]

Each of the 9 tiles represents a tumbler, or a trap mechanism if you will. Your assassin will try tiles one at a time until he or she either opens the chest, sets off the trap, or runs out of time.

As he or she examines a tile, it gets marked either black or gold. If it's not involved in the trap, it goes black. If it is, it goes gold. The objective is to turn all the gold tiles gold.

For a character with a high traps skill, it's usually not an issue. For low-level characters, however, it is an issue, and the techniques listed above can greatly improve your chances of opening locked things without blowing yourself to bits [img]smile.gif[/img]
