You might get a free pass in the first year of wedded bliss... just remember, every time you're buying her another piece of ornamentation, you can get the same mileage out of some flowers, and you don't raise the bar for everyone else. And the flowers can be picked up anywhere... the store... a guy on the side of the road... a cemetery that's close to the exit... [img]smile.gif[/img]
'Cause they talk, you know... first one starts telling her friends about how neat and wonderful and romantic her guy is, and pretty soon, it's making it's way back to the rest of us. And once that happens, we can never win unless we somehow trump every good, smart, and romantic idea you've ever had!
And lest you think that's not your concern, just remember... in seven more months (if my count is close to accurate), you'll have completed your first year, and some other guys is going to start raising the bar for you!
