One good tactic against golems, is to have one thief hide in shadows, and block their way. Then have some people using staves, two handed swords, slings or whatever (just as long as it is good enough weapon to hit the golem). You won't take hit this way. If you can't block the golems with 1 person, the try blocking them with two. Just turn the AI off, and you will be fine.
