I can answer 4 really easy, you cannot hide while in combat, you can, however, disengage, hide, and set the trap, beware attacks of oppurtunity, though, yours, not the opponents, your char will still attack, even if that is not your intent, if the enemy gets too close. Also, as soon as the trap is set, you become visible again.
