Anomen may be a snob but that adds to the fun of the game as all the other NPCs try and take him down a peg or two. Edwin and Anomen is quite funny, as is Jan and Anomen. Plus Anomen has lots of proficiencies at the start and a naturally high strength. He rocks as a fighter, even at the higher levels as a cleric. And for some reason he gets loads of cleric spells, much more than even 16 WIS should really allow I think. He has all the good pure cleric spells like holy word, bolt of glory, and Sol's searing orb. The only other people with those are Viconia and Aerie, and neither of those kick arse in quite the way Anomen does.
