You still begin in the same place you started. Plus there are 75 (or something on that number) new kits to try out.

The good thing about it is that you get to play a drow!!! Only they are in kits like Drow warrior, Drow priest, or a Drow battle monger (or something like that)

As for the new areas, I haven't been to them yet.

Remember this is an "ADD-ON" it just adds new areas, spells, items, and kits (mentioned this before). Plus it adds 30 more hours of game play very useful for people who wants the game to last longer (like me)

Oh and did I mention that there are 9 new npc's? (some of them are from BG1).

And I also forgot to mention that there new monsters also.
