Good idea, but no... there's no way to do that - now you're getting greedy. [img]smile.gif[/img]
As far as the points system for attributes... yes, it seems like a lot less points than we got in BG (& I do miss the randomness), but the scales have been modified. Now you only need a 12-13 STR to get +1, 14-15 to get +2, etc., instead of having to have a rather phenomenal roll to get any sort of bonus.
So, while your stats will be lower in total, you'll still get the really good bonuses you're used to getting for having exceptional scores, plus lesser bonuses for stats (e.g. 14) that didn't used to give any bonus.
Plus, every 4th level, you get to add +1 to any stat you want.
