Why do you say you need so many HP for the first few levels? Vit is really only good for tank types to raise, to get them the iron skin skill and keep them in the front lines. But even for them, you should be able to play in a way that disables your enemies to the point where you don't take much damage. For most other classes Vit isn't worth raising first if at all. What are your general combat strategies?
