BEFORE you go in to that "die" room, take a GOOD look at the round table, you will see some figures on it, well, find the right ones in the "die" room, step on them (go from outside -> the inside, the BIG one first, the small one last)
AFTER all that, go back to the room with the round table, use that statues hammer, violá.
I think I died like 20 times in that room (because I DID NOT look carefully at that round table, so I stepped on every symbol, thus dying a lot, and finally figured it out, then when I got back to the room with the round table, I saw what I should have seen from the begining, the puzzlesolve =))
