KG2? Go with a new CPU and mobo, but spend some $$$ on the mobo to get a decent one. I like ASUS, but everyone's different. I doubt the mobo you have now, supports even ATA66 for hard drives, so your prob stuck at 33 not even close to the 100 or 133 that new drives are. The drives are backwards compatible, but you'd lose a lot of performance. If your on a limited budget, pour most of your cash into the mobo, making sure that you can run up to at least 1.3GHZ, but save some cash by going with a 800 or 900 Duron, if AMD's your thing. When your wallet opens up a bit, grab the HD then upgrade the proc to the most your board can handle. Welcome to the never ending money pit of computers
