early on in the game you want to be really good at one type and then build up the other you also want abot2 in dualwielding anyway at the start your either good with longswords or katanas the longswords to go for are blade of roses and the daystar and the katanas are celestial fury and any other one you can think like belm
dont bother with 2 handed sword because the best 2 handed aword in the game carsomyr can only be used by paladins
