slicer gave an excellent description of this in the "Religions at Ironworks" thread.

Magic comes from Satan (who was given a portion of God's power before his fall from grace). So magic is God's power abused by Satan whereas the miracles performed by Jesus and the Apostles was an example of God's power used responsibly and at God's direction.
