Yet another good tip: Most of the mummies carry ankhs, but they rarely drop them. To increase the chance of getting an ankh, if you have a rogue, get his/her pickpocket skill up as quickly as possible and try to "pick" them off the mummies. You get a better haul. I got 4 ankhs this way through the crypt one time. It helps if it's a gnome with the "Lucky Charm" trait, BTW.
