To date, Dungeon Lords does not support Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controllers, even if they are fully directX/D3D compliant. These are the display adapters that come with many laptops and basic integrated desktop systems.

If your game is not launching, and you have one of these display adapters... there's your problem.
