[Cerek the Barbaric]

I will never be able to listen to Enya's Only Time without shedding a tear now.

My heart is broken for the lives that were lost or irrevocably changed that day.

Here is a tribute I would like to offer in memory of the innocents and heroes of September 11, 2001.

Tears of an Angel
tears of an angel
gently fall
as many to heaven are called
not ready, but they have to go
never expected it,
never did they know
lost their lives
on that sad day
many souls were taken away
tears were cried,
pain was felt
hearts torn,
nothing remains, but ashes and dust
from this earth,
taken away
never more to cry,
now they are happy, up above
wings are protecting them
surrounding them with
peaceful love.
