A cheese danish in Denmark is called a cream cake or "Flødekager" and french frys are "Pommes frites"
Now someone must tell me the names of these in their native lands...

English Muffin
Canadian Bacon
Polish sausage
and um.....German potato salad Feel free to add to the list
English Muffin = Engelsk Muffin
Canadian Bacon = Canadisk bacon
Polish sausage = Polsk Sausage
German potato salad = Tysk potet salat

and that "A cheese danish in Denmark is called a cream cake or "Flødekager"NO it is Flødekage!!! Not Flødekager
cheese danish = En Dansk Ost and a cream cake = Fløtekake!

All this above is translated in to Norwegian! and it is almost the same in Danish!
