If you don't mind micromanagement, turn puppet mode on

And/or turn Qara's use abilities option off - might still have to unsummon the blighter occasionally though. Probably useful regarding Sand as well.


As regards party movement, right click your portrait, select broadcast command and then choose stand ground. Repeat and choose follow me when done.
