Edwin is a great mage(the best in the game, barring Irenicus), but he's supposed to come to blows with Minsc. Strangely enough, in my game that never happened. Nalia is an Imoen clone, and Aerie is okay because of her dual-casting ability(cleric and mage spells make a potent combo). Haer' Dalis is crap, dont take him. Lousy mage, lousy fighter, lousy thief. He's a waste of experience.
