Try and avoid the Steam version if possible, there are multiple reports of the steam version not working at all, while a retail copy works perfectly on the same machine. Also, 2K put secuROM on the steam version as well, so theres no real point to it.

On the plus side, they've now increased the allowed activations to five machines.
