I've always preferred names that are somewhat descriptive of the character. My two favorites are the two I'm currently running - Nocturne, a female half-elf blade, and RiffRaff, a male half-orc cleric/thief. My two worst/funniest are Atilla the Hungry, a male halfling barbarian, and L'il Big Dick, a male halfling swashbuckler (and ladies' man
