Very interesting... About Xan, although not entirely relevant with what you say here, in Icewind Dale, there is a reference about him in a dead elf's diary. He was very pessimistic and at some point he says " Oh dear, I begin to sound like cousin Xan" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
