I remember when I found out cable was coming to my area I couldn't wait! But I had to...lol. From the time I heard the rumor to the actual launch in my area was nearly 18 months, but I signed up in advance and was the 5th person connected on the first day. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as downloading things, you should now find that the biggest thing slowing you down is how fast the various sites can
send you the file as opposed to how fast you can d/l it.
I downloaded the 180MG Desert Combat.35 mod for Battlefield 1942 in about 10 minutes. That was while surfing and downloading a couple of smaller files at the same time, so....
