While it may have been a joke, I truly hope you don't consider my concern hysterical. Hocking our children's futures to buy tanks and cut taxes now is BAD BAD BAD. Bushie-boy is using the Eva Peron style of gaining political popularity: hock the country and dole out the dollars. As if no one will be the wiser.
Of course, having never had to worry about money much, I can understand our President's ignorance regarding responsible use of credit.
I want a tax cut. But I demand that every dollar you give back to the people represent a dollar you cut from spending. Otherwise, you've given me nothing in the end, because that dollar tax cut I hold now will cost more than a dollar to pay back. And, my taxes will do the paying there too. Cut spending. Damnit.
