No, I was Romancing him, but that shouldn't matter, as this was part of his non-Romance quest anyway. You'll notice that the "Anomen Theme" is not playing in the background in any of the Saerk-related dialogues.

Now what the hell kind of sense does THAT make? If Anomen was a real person, I can't think of anything that would piss him off MORE than saying, "Gee, Ano, that's twice in one month that you've lost a family member, and this time we've even got the evidence that
proves Saerk was guilty of causing both deaths--but I still won't let you exact vengeance for your family."
Good thing I've got my old Save....I'll have to play through the options and see what happens. If you're right, Desuma, I think this quest is going to need a few alterations. (Letting Anomen kill Saerk, and finding him later in a Temple of Helm or Ilmater would definitely not be out of line.)
