Whew! Last night, in the dark for most of it, my honey and a friend and I made up some planters and hanging pots of flowers for the yard! We bought the flats of flowers at my Church sale last weekend and hoped to plant most of them (and put some in pots) but it's been raining or too cold ever since!
Last night it stopped raining, so we potted up some flowers...2 hrs and 60 pounds of potting soil/peat later, we had some very nice looking planters and a lot less to water every day on the back porch! Now we just need a break in the wet weather to get the rest into the ground. Well, that and we need to find time and remove weeds...sigh... doncha love spring/summer?
