I had some new windows updates ready for download, d'l'd them but haven't yet rebooted.

Much, much later I'm told I've downloaded the above (I never got asked where to put it or anything). Do I want it? I saw a little spawny pop up thing at the bottom of my PC too that I had to R click to remove. I'm a bit paranoid nowadays with all the viruses etc about. This thing doesn't mention Windows update anywhere and being called Gator it sounds like it's gonna eat my PC.

Put my mind at rest please someone. Cheers.
GOD I hate that Gator crap.. When I see that, it is $$$$$$ for the website owner if you hit yes. and they track data from your browsing.

Also, don't download the Animated Cursor thing.. Comet Cursor was what it was called I think.. Also spyware crap.

Someone needs to stop this crap. If I see those types of SCAMS that pop up on someone website, I never visit that site again.
