Desuma, you made an excellent point that many wouldn't be aware of. I never even considered "rip off" or whatever. How would one go about finding a 100% bone fide site to submit to? I mean (if you know what you're doing and know how/where to look/search)) then you can find or uncover less than reputable sites..(again, not saying the site in Q is, just expressing my ignorance) but poetry.com would in my mind immediately be taken to be bona fide...maybe it's the .com.

I'm just wondering how the less than knowledgeable can find the right sites to visit.
Seems to me (with all due respect and assuming poetry.com is a scam site) that it's far easier to find a "scam" site than one that would love to meet you for your work, and that you would love to meet...possibly for the good of all.
