Seeing as how California is 30+ BILLION in debt and is already in danger of loosing businesses to other states with lower taxes and greater incentives, it looks like this idea is just another "Lets not make any new power plants and buy our power from someone else and let them get our ass in a sling." type of typical illadvised planning the state is already known for. Edit: Wonder if theUS wouldnt be better just disowning CA and lowering its weight from the national debt?
