I've seen this many times with custody battles and the children always come out worse for it. I've done my fair share of 'investigative work' for divorce and custody proceedings and it can get very messy.
There's not much dirt to dig Animal. My entire lifetime legal problems consist of being arrested for underage alchohol consumption at the age of 18. The case was dismissed by the judge. Also one traffic ticket. The only possibly relavent thing was back in '97' during the divorce proceedings. My son was visiting his grandmother. I got very very drunk in frustration one night and broke out my own car window in my own driveway, with my own hand (which turned out worse for the wear). The police saw it happen and took me to the hospital ER to sober up and treat the cuts. I apologized, paid the bill, and went home. There were no charges as I didn't break any laws. There's no law against stupidity. The police said, had I resisted, I would have been taken into protective custody. Since I didn't, I wasn't. No record of it except the daily logbook, which may or may not still exist. I went to ninety days of voluntary counseling anyway. I never heard about it again. Were she pure as the driven snow, I might be worried. She aint!
