When I was a teenager (quite a few years ago now) I was with a group of friends in a car. We had a bunch of fireworks, and decided to let a rocket off out of the window of the car. So this one guy held the stick, lit it, stuck his hand out of the window - and didn't let go. The rocket exploded, shooting loads of burning gunpowder and smoke back into the car. When asked 'Why didn't you let go?' his reply was 'No-one told me to'. DUH! He badly burnt his hand and arm. Fortunately his burns healed and no-one else got hurt.
