Agreed, I really dont think its completely the mother's fault. It might seem like she's scapegoating Everquest for her son's death, but its probably as much her son's fault as the game.

MMORPGS can get addictive, and some people are just losers..I mean the article clearly states his mother did pretty much whatever she reasonably could for an ADULT man to get on with his life or whatever.

Granted it really doesnt seem like she went about them the right way, but I do believe her son should be held accountable for his own actions. He's an adult, he got addicted to living a false, make-believe life, and he shot himself after being ditched by a cyberlover. How sad is that...people should be educated on stuff like this. Its just getting bloody ridiculous. Enter the age of the cyberfreak..
